Carol + Kyle’s Minecraft Wedding Cupcakes
Ohio based Kalli Cakes built their own Minecraft world from blocks made of fondant and cake for this real world wedding of Carol and Kyle. The Minecraft cake is made from dark chocolate cake, buttercream filling and icing with each hand cut fondant square applied individually to recreate the pixelated look of the game. Also creating cupcake blocks to represent Cake, Squid, Creeper, Redstone Ore with Torch, Brick, Gold Ore and Diamond blocks for the wedding.
The couple also had a Settlers of Catan pull apart cake based off the German-style board game. Each 3″ cake piece is made of dark chocolate cake, buttercream filling iced in buttercream and fondant with a hand painted fondant topper.
These cupcakes are awesome!
