This wedding cake designed and created by UK’s creative bakery Kiss and Bake Up; combines geek fandoms from Harry Potter to Doctor Who to create the ultimate geek wedding cake. ”The problem with being a creative baker with no sense of boundaries, is you take advantage of your own imagination. For us, it was infusing our wedding with our favorite nerdery,” says KABU. These included: a cascade of printed icing sheets from Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire all over the cake, hand sculpted sugar and chocolate models with hand painted detail (the blue haired bakers themselves), Buckbeak the hippogriff from Harry Potter, Sir Didymus and Ambrosius from Labyrinth, Ghost the direwolf and baby dragons from Game Of Thrones, Serenity/Firefly, The TARDIS from Doctor Who, Mockingjays/Jabberjays from The Hunger Games (Catching Fire cover style – blue), Toothless The Nightfury from How To Train Your Dragon and Iorek Byrnison from His Dark Materials/The Golden Compass.
