Earlier this year Firefly alums Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk launched a successful Indiegogo campaign for their new Web series Con Man. In the show, Tudyk plays an actor from a canceled turned cult sci-fi show who is living in the shadow of his more successful former costar played by Fillion. Last Thursday, the Con Man team debuted a new trailer at San Diego Comic-Con and held a panel in Hall H after which there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Near the end of the panel moderated by Nerdists’ Chris Hardwick, and in front of 7,000 fans, Con Man‘s VFX and makeup guys Billy Brooks and Barry Bishop left the crowd in tears of joy following their sweet onstage proposal.
What better way to end a panel at SDCC?
