Home Styled Shoots

This Wonder Woman/comic book themed boudoir photo shoot captured by Sherry Sutton Photography features the perfect mix of geekiness and sensuality lassoed together in one hot wedding gift for her Husband. ”Amanda wanted to give her fiance Stefano something special for their wedding, says photographer Sherry. “He LOVES comic books, and he loves her, so she decided to combine the two into a comic book themed boudoir session. It’s everything from classically sexy to downright campy.”

A vision of a modern groom and his dip-dyed purple haired bride at their out of this world cosmic wedding designed and styled by Santa Monica based Harmony Creative Studio. The stars aligned for Creative Director Margaux Frais who wanted to showcase where she thinks modern weddings are headed in the near future: tech-influenced, geometric, bold and sleek. Boldly going where no wedding…well, you know.

Red lipstick is a bold look for any bride, but add in a red cape and hood for a gorgeous Red Riding Hood themed bridal shoot from photographer Samantha Sunderwirth of Maggie Z Photo. ”When the concept for this shoot came into my head, I knew what I wanted the dress, the model, and the location to look like, ” explains Samantha,  ”and what you see here is exactly what I imagined.”

DeviantArt artist 6ideon busted out his photo manipulation skills for a friend’s wedding comping in ‘giant-sized’ versions of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Savage Opress attacking the wedding party, don’t you just hate it when that happens?

Glamorous details set against contrasting rustic elements set apart this beautiful Hunger Games styled shoot focusing on the love between Tributes Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.

Naturally Yours Events brings together an incredible group of vendors to create a shoot that symbolize the journey our heroes make throughout the Hunger Games. Combining rich foods, exotic flowers, and little details taken straight from the books to reflect the extravagance of the Capital while rustic elements like farm tables, family photos, and the natural moss with primrose “kokedama favors” remind us of the character’s humble origins.”

Today’s shoot is inspired by one of my favorite graphic novels Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley and features some fun and colorful inspiration for a hopefully evil ex free wedding day.

Putting together a great group of vendors who embraced the shoot’s geeky theme, Miranda of Inner Circle Photography along with All About You Productions prove that weddings truly can be ‘all about you’ in this styled shoot based on the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The stage, literally, for this shoot took place at Michigan’s the Andiamo Novi Theatre in reference to Scott’s band Sex Bob-Omb playing/battling on stage in the film.

In the wake of the Red Wedding, take a look back at one of the show’s favorite couples Robb Stark and Talisa Maegyr and the rivalry between the Houses Stark and Lannister in this beautiful Game of Thrones inspired bridal shoot.

Gold, red and grey sets the tone for this rustic shoot shot by Mollie Tobias Photography recreating happier times for Westeros’ ill-fated couple. “The color scheme revolves around the House Crests~ the Gold Lion of Lannister, Red Dragon of Targaryen, and Gray Direwolf of Stark. We used the Deer Head for Bartheon. The chess set, made from cold yet unbreakable marble, symbolizes the movements and strategies of the multiple characters and houses,” explains Mollie the Virginia based photographer.

To celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary Kimi of Golden Lasso Cosplay and Sam Balcomb of LA based Rainfall production/post company put together this amazing Skyrim panorama. The couple’s entire wedding party, including the ring bearer and flower girl, showed up to participate each being photographed separately in front of a green screen then digitally stitched back together to create one amazing wedding photo.

A gothic fantasy world of magic, catchy songs and weird creatures is inspiration for today’s Labyrinth inspired wedding shoot and video shot by the amazing Labyrinth Productions. Ringing in the New Year with some whimsical wedding inspiration models Nicholas Carinci as Jareth, the Goblin King, and Rebekah Pascouau as Sarah recreate the masquerade ballroom scene from the film.
